MIESF Achieves Objectives

One reason to join the Meat Industry Employees' Superannuation Fund (MIESF) is to become a member of a

well-established super fund.

 Here's ten more reasons:

10 reasons to be a member of MIESF

1. Australia-wide coverage in more than 800 workplaces with many meat industry employers participating in

MIESF - so if you move jobs you can usually leave your super within the Main Section of MIESF

2. Solid investment returns - 10%#p.a. average over past 25 years and no years of negative returns*

3. No entry or exit fees and a low administration fee of $1.00 per week

4. Death cover of $100,000 for eligible members for a low $3.00 per week

5. We don't pay commissions

6. All the profits are given back to members

7. Allocated pension and term allocated pension facilities

8. 13.25% return for allocated pension and term allocated pension accounts for the year ended 30 June 2006.

Three year average return of 13.74% p.a.

9. Access to Members' Equity Home Loans

10. Fund help line service where you get to speak to a person who actually knows your fund

- no waiting in queues or on hold

With these types of services and benefits why wouldn't you become a member?

You should consider the MIESF Product Disclosure Statement before making a decision to acquire or continue

to hold interests in the Fund.

For further information, or for a copy of the Fund's Product Disclosure Statement, you can contact the Fund

Office on 1800 252 099, email us on, or contact your AMIEU organiser.
