Following discussion with the Company in relation to the renewal of the current Enterprise Bargaining Agreement the Company have informed the Union this is their final offer:-

1)Audit/Pre Op QA allowance $5.00 per day.

2)QA allowance paid only when engaged in QA duties.

3)Night shift employees pay increase of $26.40 per week & 2 ½% increase.

4)Drivers to be paid penalty rates on Sundays and Public Holidays for actual time worked (no minimum hours of work).

5)Wage increase of 2.5% for each year of Agreement (3 years).

6)Beef Slaughtermen rates 21 Tally = $155.13
                                    27 Tally = $211.37
   Beef Labourer Rates      21 Tally = $119.50
                                    27 Tally = $155.50

These rates do not include the proposed 2.5% pay rise, but do include in the case of Beef Slaughtermen the rinse and Feedlot Allowance which is removed from the EBA.

Work on time for the beef is increased from 14 minutes to 30 minutes per day. 
Step up labourers will receive slaughts payment after 1 hour not ½ hour
Toilet breaks are not counted.

7)Butcher’s Picnic removed for EBA.

8)RDO’s not to accrue when you are off work on WorkCover.

9)If RDO falls on a public holiday or whilst on annual leave that RDO will be paid out as well as your payment for the public holiday or annual leave.

10)Christmas, New Years Eve and Good Friday Eve become normal days.

11)When a worker is on alternative duties the worker must complete the requirements of his medical certificates and return to work plan which his Doctor must sign off on.

12)Agreement to be re-written to comply with current legislation.
