Teys Brothers Meat Company Looking At M


TEYS BROTHERS MEAT COMPANY LOOKING AT MAJOR

                    EXPANSION IN NARACOORTE

 

Brad Teys, CEO of Teys Bros (Naracoorte) Pty Ltd has announced that work has commenced on a multi-million dollar upgrade of the Company's Naracoorte beef processing plant which was scheduled for completion in late 2009

 

Mr Teys explained that the upgrade would expand daily production to 750 head, directly generating an additional 180 permanent jobs. The expanded plant would earn in excess of $200 million of annual sales (80% export)

 

"The company estimates that this will increase its annual wages bill to in excess of 17 million dollars providing for enhanced growth in the local community and additional regional employment opportunities".

 

Not quite JBS but very good for the state - ed.
