GETTING YOUR ALLOWANCES?

The union office has become aware of a number of members in Coles, Woolworths and Bi Lo who are not receiving their cold allowances or meal allowances.

Cold allowances are for work in the meat unit or stocking cabinets depending on which supermarket chain you work for.

Meal allowances are payable where notice of coming overtime is not given.

If you are not getting these payments and believe that you are eligible for them, ring the union office and we will advise you accordingly.
