Improved Death Cover - $100,000 from 1 January 2003

One of the great benefits of membership in the Meat Industry Employees Superannuation Fund is the way we look after your family in the event of your untimely death.

A flat rate of cover

Unlike other super funds your Death Cover is a set dollar amount and is not dependent upon your age.  So everyone gets the same benefit!

Competitive!

The Death Cover is competitive with other industry type funds and, from 1 January 2003, is provided to you for the low fee of $3.00 per week, an increase of only $1.00.

Start immediately

The Death Cover starts from the date you join a participating employer, provided that you join MIESF on commencement of employment and your employer has made contributions into MIESF.

Continues after you leave employment

Your death cover will continue after your employment has terminated.  Some conditions do apply.
